The camera bag every photographer needs!

I was sent a camera bag by K+F Concept to try out and was pleasantly surprised. I had never used a product from K+F Concept before, which is why I went into the test completely unbiased.

Material and design:
The bag is made from a material similar to a mackintosh and feels slightly rubbery. This is simply because the bag is rain-repellent. For me, this is a big plus point, as I like to know that my camera and accessories are protected whatever the weather. The seams of the bag are tight and cleanly finished and the bag looks solid overall. In terms of design, the bag is grey at the front and otherwise black. I like simple designs for camera bags as I don't want to stand out when I'm carrying around expensive gear.

Ergonomics:
For the first time, I had a bag that I could/had to hang over my shoulder on one side. You have a very free and mobile carrying feeling as I didn't have a rucksack covering my whole back. The bag is lighter and smaller than a rucksack, which makes for easier handling and more relaxed movement. The only downside is that because the bag is carried on a strap, the weight hangs on one side of the body and you have to switch sides from time to time because it hurts your shoulder.

Space:
I was surprised by how much space the bag offers inside. From the outside it looks small and compact, but during my test I was easily able to stow two cameras with lens and an interchangeable lens in the main compartment. There are small pockets on the front and back, which are great for batteries, SD cards, keys, etc.! The bag also has small holders and pockets that make it easy to organise.

Result:
I was pleasantly surprised by the bag and it definitely has the potential to become an everyday bag. As a travelling bag, it is of course too small. It doesn't fit an iPad or a laptop, which is of course limiting. However, if you are simply travelling during the day to take photos, then the bag is a light and compact companion. I can also recommend the quality of the bag, but I'm looking forward to the long-term test.
